Shaklee Entrepreneurs Are Different- they thrive on Stress

While the general population is fatter, sicker and stressed out, Shaklee people are thriving.

Why are we so different? The classic Landmark Study  says that Shaklee people, as a group, have better vital signs  than those who take other supplement products or the group that takes no supplements at all.  This suggests that Shaklee people are healthier and thus enjoy a better lifestyle – and as a result they feel compelled to share it with others.

But why?

There are plenty of healthy but unhappy people. So why are Shaklee people so different from the general population.  Is it the Shaklee products alone or is there more?  I bet you guessed the right answer-  yes there is more.

Looking at the common characteristics of happy thriving people we can find some of the answers.

Shaklee people manage stress.  Research by Kelly McGonigal, Ph.D. (The Upside of Stress, 2015) has proven that people who successfully managed stressful situations became stronger and better able to handle stress in the future. So how does stress benefit Shaklee people? Shaklee people take risks: they have started a new business, they have learned about new products, they have reached out to family and strangers to tell them about Shaklee, and they have trained others to be coaches and leaders.  In a way they are stress seekers- they are DOers they do not wait for the perfect time- they initiate activity.  Remember every significant life event that you have accomplished was stressful at that time: from starting college, getting married, starting a new job or going on an adventure trip in the jungle. And, many people would be terrified at starting a Shaklee business. But there is more.

Shaklee people have a life purpose.  Whether developed as one gets involved with Shaklee or brings a life purpose to Shaklee–either way having a positive life purpose.  So what is a “life’s purpose?” What you hear most often is that Shaklee people want to help others have a healthier life- -they are people focused, have developed relationships, and have made the decision that they will achieve their life’s purpose.  So, Shaklee people will not quit after someone chooses not to follow their program, they persist, keep going and ultimately succeed.  Moreover, they will help other Shaklee people solve problems, provide support and go the extra mile. They have met challenges, overcome stress, and have learned to that a positive mindset is a lot better than letting yourself get stressed out by focusing on the negative.

Having freedom is another common trait of a Shaklee entrepreneur. Shaklee business builders have the freedom to set their agenda, choose their friends and clients, choose to work anywhere there is an Internet connection–a big difference being an entrepreneur from being an employee in a corporate business farm.  The better the Shaklee business leader becomes at helping people, the odds go up dramatically that they will also build financial freedom.  What a gift.

And, most importantly, being part of the Shaklee culture is fun. Travel, friends, challenges, successes, helping others achieve their goals is fun! And, all with the goal of making things better is priceless.

So, the bottom line: Shaklee products provide the nutritional foundation for amazing health that Shaklee people feel compelled to share and building on our life purpose of helping others. A positive mindset, seeking to learn and expand your comfort zones, makes life with Shaklee a strong force for a healthy, wealthy lifestyle for every stage of our lives.
