Changing Habits
We are creatures of habit, and changing habits is difficult. As health coaches, we have to create a strategy that will help people break bad habits and refresh their lifestyle behaviors with new healthy habits that will make healthier clients and improve the chances that they will stay on track. There are techniques to make habit change easier. To impact people’s lifestyle, a health coach has to understand how to help them change, and is also the foundation for the coach to develop a relationship that will be profitable for all concerned. The session will include the following
- Understanding the habit process- why it is important for you and your clients
- Breaking old habits and replacing them with new habits
- What are the signals that a person is ready to adopt a new habit
- Building a relationship that will result in behavioral habit changes for your new clients
- Building a habit change strategy that can be applied with your clients
